On our map you find the different clubs and schools where you can practice kite. There are also your favorite stores!
Open mapOne of the key moments of this sport is to move from land to water with your kite flying. Once you're comfortable with the basic mechanics of the kite, it's time to get in the water. You will do it without a board at the beginning and in light wind conditions. Repeat all the movements you learned on land until you master them.
The range of action between you and your kite is huge. Try not to have anyone while you take off the kite on the beach and watch your leeward when you are in the water or sailing.
To fly our kite we will look for laminar winds. These are those that have the same direction and speed in height as in surface. We will avoid mountainous areas, trees or nearby buildings that will dramatically affect the safety of our flight.
The introduction of FOIL has also been decisive in the evolution of KITESURF. Lighter and more resistant materials are leading their raiders to navigate in the most extreme wind conditions. Flaming trailing or paragliding-type kites predominate with a wide range of flight delivering all the power in light winds.
The most widespread kite model is the inflated type or LEI (Leadindg Edge Inflatable). This inflatable frame prevents our kite from sinking in case of falling into the water allowing us to relaunch it in the air while floating.
